I popped out to get some lunch today, and was happily surprised to see the new Rook is opened in Freehold! They have a super delicious berry tea that they usually only have for the summer. But surprise! I was able to get some. It was a nice treat after a weekend full of productivity and action. Do you have a favorite thing you like to treat yourself to?

As I am not much a coffee person, I love going in to Rook Coffee for their iced teas. The only downfall is that they only have them in the summer. Unfortunately the day I went was no longer a day they were selling them. Drat! I'll have to wait again until next year.

After walking around Red Bank a bit, we stopped in the Rook to get some beverages to cool us down. I am a fan of the berry tea, as I am not a coffee drinker. It definitely was a nice way to cap out a lovely shopping and lunch trip with some friends.

We popped over to Rook to get some beverages. Sadly they had already retired their iced tea, which they only have in the summer. However, some coffee was acquired and we went on our way. I had never been to this Rook before since it's a bit on the newer side. They're popping up all over the place now around here. If only they'd have tea year round...

I decided to pop out during my lunch break to get a little bite to eat, and to sit near a lovely little park to enjoy the nice weather we've been having the last couple of days. The lake in the middle of the park was still half frozen, seagulls perched on the frozen half while some other birds paddled in the thawed bit. It was nice to have my windows open and enjoy the breeze. After the snowy and cold winter we've had, I am definitely ready to welcome spring at this point in time!

I'm really pleased with the progress I am making with my crane project. I am so glad to have kept up with it and not given it up. It's been 4.5 really fun years and I've heard back from so many wonderfully interesting people. I am excited to see where the next cranes are place as I'll be doing a decent amount of traveling for work. Maybe I'll be able to check off some new cities and states on my little crane journey!

I decided to go out during my lunch break to Rook to see if they still had the tea I remembered liking last September. To my unhappy surprise, they don't carry the tea year round! But I was happy to find out that they will be bringing it back for the summer, so I'll definitely make sure I pop around to one of the new locations when they are open for some iced tea goodness.

After a morning visit to the doctors, I decided to see what Rook was all about. Their logo, a black raven-esque bird with a white circle around it and a larger black circle behind it, is pretty prevalent in the area on shirts and bumper stickers. I'm all about creative advertising that leads a person in. The Rook in the Little Silver Train Station is quite lovely. I wish it had been there when I used that train station regularly when living up that way. I had the Berry Tea, which was quite good. I definitely foresee myself going back to one again. Perhaps I'll check out one of the several other locations as they are definitely a good spot for crane releases!
