Since I'm not much of a coffee drinker, I picked up a tall of my new favorite which is basically part iced tea and part lemonade. That's been a favorite combination of mine for several years, but I've become a sucker for that one in particular. (Honest Tea also has a pretty good Half and Half if you're interested.) Iced Tea + Lemonade gives the right balance of flavors.

A mere week after coming home from the airport, I found myself driving up there as an airport ride. I was a bit jealous about their international travel, albeit business related. So I stopped at the Shoppes to check it out since I hadn't even chosen to go home this way before. Had a lot of key stores and a couple eating areas, which seemed a perfect place to release a crane.

Like all good things, my vacation to Disney World had to come to an end. This is the last vacation crane I placed. We spent the day in Downtown Disney checking out some of the shops (and of course I bought several lovely soaps from Basin) as well as Disney Quest, which is a 5 story video game arena. To not draw too much attention to myself, I had to leave the flash off. (Disturbed video gamers can get quite rowdy!) Hopefully the person that found that crane had as great a time in Disney as my group had.

Although I couldn't capture it and the crane in my photo, behind the crane is the replica of the Piazza San Marco from Venice. I really wanted to release a crane in this pavilion because I really enjoyed my visit to Italy several years back. It was beautiful in so many different ways and I really recommend going if you can. If not, Epcot was a lovely little slice of Italian culture and architecture all rolled into one.

I always have enjoyed hibachi style restaurants. I like the show they put on while cooking your food and it's always nice to see what's going into it. My favorite parts of the show are usually when they a.) make a smiley face and set it on fire and b.) when they make the steaming onion volcano. They didn't do a. this time but they certainly made the largest steaming volcano ever! Hibachi always brings me back to the pleasant memories of college where we celebrated nearly everyone's birthdays at the restaurant by our school.

The Japan Pavilion store was absolutely wonderful. It made me want to visit Japan even more. I happily found just the right sized paper to make some of my cranes out of! So you guys will be seeing cranes that are made from the paper in this store in the near future. They also had a lot of wonderful other things that I would've bought had I more room in my suitcase.

Originally I had wanted to place this crane in Cinderella's Castle, until I realized that the only think inside of it that was open was a restaurant. Since it wasn't covered as a lunch on our meal plan, I opted to put it in the Hall of Presidents. I had never been on it before but found it to be a wonderful show. Probably not terribly entertaining for young children but I felt suitably moved.

Nothing like a water coaster to make a person feel young. Roller coasters actually give me slight anxiety but I couldn't avoid watching and listening to the story of Brer every animal. Plus a little chance to cool off by being splashed never hurts either.

Coral Reef was probably one of the more memorable restaurants we ate at. Not because we had a wonderful view of fish, sting rays, sea turtles and sharks while we dined. And not because the scuba divers in the tank waved at us, gave us thumbs up, or blew us kisses. It was because of the amazing dessert we had, the Bailey's and Jack Daniel's Mousse. Our waiter very forcefully, and it turns out correctly, told us we all should get that as a dessert. Great life decision.

Dangerously, we found out that our daily snack swipes could be used in the pastry shop found in the French area. A good chocolate croissant or eclair here or there won't hurt. But one everyday? We didn't even stand a chance. They were too gloriously delicious to avoid.

The U.K. pavilion (which I always think of as the England one, rather than the whole of the U.K.) made me really wish I was able to go back there again. I haven't been to England in almost 5 years now and keep hoping I'll be able to make my way back there. A few of the buildings, and most certainly the phone booths, very much reminded me of the several months I spent living over there. Oh fond memories!

I'm a big fan of the Canadian section of Epcot. Mostly because it brings back fond memories of my first visit there. Or maybe it's just because of the cool waterfall that is tucked away in the back. Any which way, it's a fun little pavilion that doesn't seem to be as well traveled as some of the others.

It was actually a bit ironic that worldly crane ended up here. There was a conference going on that had business people from many different countries. They all wore name tags that also told where they were from. In a place with vacationers from a number of different countries as well as a world themed park, Disney certainly has earned the crane Worldly.

During one of our midday siestas, I took a lovely walk around the Epcot resort area checking out the things at the Beach Club, Yacht Club and Dolphin Resorts. I recommend anyone staying in the area to do it. Checking out the other resorts allows you to see a bunch of different interior designs. Plus it allowed me to work off some of the desserts I partook in!

The vacation certainly had a timeless quality well before this part. I kept forgetting what day it was. Who needs to know the day of the week when your biggest care in the world is which amusement park opens early? Something I could definitely have gotten use to.

For a person whose wanderlust is larger than their pursestrings, Epcot is a fun place to go to "see different countries." I am amazed at how detailed all the pavilions are down to some lovely details (namely the hidden mickey's.) While I can't speak for all the countries in the world area, the few that I have been to are well depicted. Sadly I've not been to the actual country of Norway, but hopefully I can make it before my crane project ends!

The Polynesian Resort in Disney World has this very lovely fountain and vegetation area. It was inside the main lobby and could be seen from both floors. Not to mention the lovely themed restaurants, Kona & Ohana (which was, not surprisingly, delicious.) I once designed a house for a geometry class that had a fountain in the foyer, although not nearly as grand. I'm pretty sure I failed the project, but apparently I should've just taken my expertise to Disney World.
