Although this one was placed right next to a computer, it's probably really hard to see. Most of the crane itself is white, and obviously the surroundings are pretty white as well. Most of the hotel was white, black, or a shade of gray. Pretty modern.

Couldn't have placed this crane in a better building. Hands down, this was the most beautiful thing I saw on my trip. It's also the most photographed hotel in North America (according to a number of tour guides I had.) I certainly took a number of pictures of it, so I'd have to agree.

This crane was placed on a bench in the middle of the walkway. I have a feeling that this one wasn't discovered before it started raining. It didn't even look like it was supposed to rain that day (as it did during a number of times during my trip.) So there's a good chance this one didn't make it. It'd be great if someone stumbled upon this guy before, of course, but he also risked being sat on. I'm trying not to leave cranes outside when it looks like there's a pretty good chance of rain. Oh well! Live and learn.

While I tried not to repeat words in my list, some variations were inevitable. However, I didn't realize I had put this one and Kind (17) so close together. I tried to separate them as much as possible, but it slipped through the cracks. I'm going to try to make sure similar words are separated a bit better from now on. But who doesn't like people who are kind/show kindness?

I was a bit worried about placing it in the actual Citadelle, so it was placed on a ledge almost outside of it. I didn't want to be on the bad side of the Canadian Army, considering this is an active military base! Getting shot while trying to promote pleasant feelings would be quite opposite my mission Conveniently the colors are red and white, which are the colors on the flag.

Given this word, I didn't realize the irony of the placement of it until just now. It was once a jail, turned into a college, turned into a historical society. I placed it in the library section, which was once a bunch of jail cells. Quite confusing.

In the end, I didn't end up leaving it where I took the photo. I sat in the waiting room 1.5 hours until I had to get to my train. Not a single person came back there. So I went and left it closer to the front. But in the interest of trying to be inconspicuous (so that people don't take the crane just because they've seen me photograph it), I just left it there. This may happen again in the future. But rest assured, I left the crane within a hundred feet of this photo. Promise.

And satisfying the museum was! I was particularly fond of their glass exhibit. Certainly recommended. And I try not to place the cranes in a location where they can be sat on, but occasionally that's the only place I can put them. Hopefully this one wasn't sat upon!

This one was sitting at the base of the tree. I doubled back to this room a bit later and saw it was no longer there. Here's to hoping the cleaning crew didn't get it!

I thought this crane was appropriately placed in the 1hour+ long indoor maze. I think this point was near the end. My apologies for the terrible photo quality but pictures weren't aloud in there (Oops!) So I had to be as stealthy as possible. This was the best of the couple I tried to take. (I took none of the actual maze though, just to be clear.) I only made it out with the help of a lovely family. I might've not been so optimistic otherwise!

Some of the location pictures are a bit like a search and find mission. This crane is sitting (safely) above the water fountain. A pool area is probably not the best place for a crane (oops!), so I think I will (hopefully) not place any more near them in the future.

I've realized that writing on some of the cranes makes it pretty impossible to read. I think for the next time I make cranes on dark paper, I will likely just print out the word instead of writing it on. You live & you learn.
