Everyone likes to be on the receiving end of a good smile, of that I am convinced. Would you turn down a genuine smile? Methinks not so much. After placing the crane, I smiled at every person I passed on my way out of the library. Some people smiled back, some people ignored my smile. It was nice to dole a smile out (not the beams because those should be reserved for really liking something or professional photos.) So give a smile to the people you pass today. You'll be surprised how it's a small gift that ends up giving back. Unless the person thinks you're creepy. Then try, try again.

  1. Smiling really is one of the easiest ways we can make a difference. It's a form of acknowledgement that should be used so much more.
