This is one of those cranes where the word doesn't really match with the location it was left. I can't say I'm particularly fond of American public transportation. Or depots/stations leading to them. Generally people are all cranky and want to get where they are going a bit quicker. So although the crane doesn't match the location, I imagine someone definitely needed a pick me up in order to win the human running of the bulls for a seat to call their own.
