I'm not sure I can relate the word back to the story that I want to tell about this location. But I worked at this beach for every summer for nearly 7 years. This past summer was actually the first I didn't work down there. What a great job it was: sitting in the sun (with 50spf, thank you fair skin!), reading books, all whilst getting paid. I met a number of wonderful regular patrons that treated me wonderfully. It doesn't get much better than that. Not to mention this was the beach of my childhood: making sand sea turtles & castles, watching the fireworks on the 4th of July (American Independence Day), playing video games in the arcade (which was much larger back in the day). It was the beach the my Granny took my Dad and his siblings to when they were little. So it's a beach with a lot of history and one I'd have to call my own.
¡Wow, Sandy! I am really impressed that you have reched this amount of positive words. I never thought that there was that amount of positive words! Also, if you need help locating Cranes in other places of the world, I think I can help! Or other thing I can help is searching more positive words. Keep the awesome work, Sandy!

Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful concept.
I'd love to release one of your cranes in my corner of the world.
I'd put the word serendipity on it because to find one 'in the wild' would be both lovely and unexpected.
If you are interested in your little birdie going for a big fly to Australia contact me at giftsofserendipity@yahoo.com

um, could this be any cooler?
ReplyDeletethe answer is no. it could not.

ReplyDeleteWhat an AWESOME idea! If there were more people like you in the world, the world would be a better place.
ReplyDeleteSandy, what you are doing is soo cool. I'm not sure if you are interested in a little help spreading your cranes or not, but if you'd like to mail me some (premade, bc I'm not sure I can do those. haha) I'd be happy to disberse them in the Atlanta/Columbus, GA area for you!!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work, girlfrieeeeend!
Hi Sandy,
ReplyDeleteThis is an amazing project and idea! Absolutely love it! I was thinking the same thing as Felicity (in her comment above)! If you wanted to send some of your beautiful cranes to another part of the world, I would be so happy to place one or a few for you here, in Chile, too!
Wishing you a joyful week!
