682. Privileged

682. Privileged
Definition: (adj) having the rare opportunity to do something that brings particular pleasure
Location Placed: Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 7:03pm

One of the things I was most impressed by was the number of over street walkways that connected the various casinos and hotels. Definitely quite useful not having to wait for traffic and probably a safer bet for people who are traversing the strip in the later hours in various states of inebriation. I imagine it is as much for safety as it is for convenience. Since the strip is several lanes wide, it definitely helped with zigzagging back and forth across the way to see the different casinos!

681. Commanding

681. Commanding
Definition: (adj) indicating or expressing authority
Location Placed: Luxor, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 7:17pm

Luxor is one of the cooler casinos in terms of the theme. It is absolutely impressive. Even the casino areas are impressively Egyptian-esque. A light shown out of the top of the pyramid, which is toward the southern end of the strip, with a Sphinx out front. I definitely would've stayed here if I had the option to and wanted to stay on the edge.

680. Applaud

680. Applaud
Definition: (v) show strong approval of; praise
Location Placed: Shark Reef, Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 5:08 pm

This was one of our goals along the walk, to head to Shark Reef. It was a neat little aquarium where you could walk through tunnels in the aquarium and see sharks, among lots of other sea creatures. Definitely a neat little place at the very southern most end of the strip. Thankfully there is a little tram in between several of the casinos as my little feet had done quite the number of steps that day!

679. Knowledgeable

679. Knowledgeable
Definition: (adj) intelligent; well-informed
Location Placed: New York-New York, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 4:32pm

The next casino on down our line was New York-New York. It definitely was New York themed! The outside is a bit of a sky-line of the city condensed into one smaller area. There's a roller coaster that you can ride inside of it. We didn't end up going on that, but I definitely appreciated that it was there. Maybe next time. Additionally, there was a Statue of Liberty made of twizzler products! Definitely quite the sight to see.

678. Meditate

678. Meditate
Definition: (v) think deeply or focus one's mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation.
Location Placed: Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 3:54pm

Planet Hollywood doesn't seem to have a theme like some of the other casinos around. It seems pretty low key with a bunch of good eateries nearby. It's conveniently located in the middle of the strip for easy access to a lot of things. I wouldn't say go out of your way to visit it, but if you happen to be around, it doesn't hurt to poke your head in.

677. Cooperative

677. Cooperative
Definition: (adj) involving mutual assistance in working toward a common goal.
Location Placed: Starbucks, Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/28/15 at 3:50pm

It's not a trip to Vegas without checking out all the different casinos and sights along the strip! So we took a leisurely (and ungodly hot!) walk down the strip stopping into casinos along the way. Planet Hollywood was our first stop. Definitely needed an ice tea for the walk to keep cool! Plus it was our first look into a hotel that wasn't our own. Not too much different though. However it was still really neat to see the differences around.

676. Unblemished

676. Unblemished
Definition: (adj) perfect
Location Placed: Neon Museum, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/27/15 at 8:23pm

The Neon Museum is a neat place close to downtown Las Vegas where many of the old neon signs from yesteryear are housed in a "boneyard" of sorts. A guided tour leads you through a historical look at Vegas through the years. Lit signs, both neon and not, are visible for many of the hotels/resorts still around as well as some unfortunate to have closed their doors. It was such a neat museum experience! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something a little different to do.

675. Galore

675. Galore
Definition: (adj) in abundance
Location Placed: Vegas Indoor Skydiving, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/26/15 at 8:28pm

Probably one of the coolest things I have ever done. I had never wanted to go skydiving before as I am not a big fan of heights or willingly throwing myself out of a plane. Then I heard about indoor skydiving, which gives you the sensation with air rushing by you from a wind tunnel, without the whole heights thing. It was just as awesome as I had hoped. According to the other person in there with me, real skydiving is a lot better, but she said it was still pretty awesome for what it was. For someone who will never purposefully exit a plane in flight, this is something I would do many times over!

674. Sensational

674. Sensational
Definition: (adj) very good indeed; very impressive or attractive.
Location Placed: Las Vegas McCarran Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada
Date Placed: 9/24/15 at 10:30pm

A late arrival into the airport to a limo awaiting us at the bag pickup. The trip was a mix of business in the beginning with a week road trip afterward. This is the start of over 50 crane entries from my trip out west. It's going to take a little time to get all of the entries up, but I'm finally able to devote the time to working on them after I've gotten all the pictures out of my camera and phone!

673. Cultured

673. Cultured
Definition: (adj) characterized by refined taste and manners and good education.
Location Placed: Rook Coffee Roaster, Colts Neck, New Jersey
Date Placed: 9/19/15 at 11:21am

We popped over to Rook to get some beverages. Sadly they had already retired their iced tea, which they only have in the summer. However, some coffee was acquired and we went on our way. I had never been to this Rook before since it's a bit on the newer side. They're popping up all over the place now around here. If only they'd have tea year round...
