Seeing that I've already mentioned my love of books, it's no surprise that I not only had to stop it, but had to release a crane there. I feel like this will not be the only bookstore related drop I do. I put this one as close as I possibly could to the origami books. Oh what a crafty one I am.

The walls of the station stop were quite vibrant. All different colors stacked on a 45 degree angle. Very pretty for a train station. A couple more cranes to update on tomorrow. My body is indicating it is time for sleep.

The Liberty Bell was one of the few things I don't think I ever saw when visiting Philly when I was younger. The Zoo, of course. The Franklin Institute, for sure. But not the Liberty Bell. It was pretty cool looking. We followed it off with a saunter around Ben Franklin's grave and surrounding cemetery (where I couldn't bring myself to release a crane.) Very pretty surrounding area though.

I've come to realize I place a fair number of cranes in phone booth areas. Usually this is because it is a.) pretty sheltered b.) occasionally one of the only flat surfaces and c.) a lot of people look at the phone booths and wonder why they are still there since the advent of the cell phone. It's sort of a win win for everyone/everything.

I couldn't be more pleased that this crane came next as I was passing through town. Farmingdale as a whole is extremely quaint, in a small town sort of way. (I may be a bit biased as it was my childhood hometown.) But almost everything in town just proclaims quaint: the Main Street with its blinker light, seeing long time neighbors, holiday parades, and the ice cream store. My brother and I had childhood birthday parties in this ice cream store (which was under a different name then). So I got an ice cream sandwich while there for old times.

The weather was too nice to not take advantage of it. The Reservoir was the place to be, either looking out at the water, hiking, or taking some sort of boat/kayak out.

The winery itself was quite pretty. Each acre holds 90-ish vines and there are 40 acres! They pump out quite a bit of wine per year. My friend Christine and I didn't have any of their wine, but looking out over the field onto the recycled material building on a beautiful day was quite magnificent.

Man, what a lovely evening it was at the beach. The temperature was in the low 70s, the waves were calming, the sky looked like it was painted. It's nights like these when I appreciate how close I live to the beach. While most of the positive words could be used to describe the beach, lovely did so perfectly tonight.
