The Philadelphia Airport is pleasantly easy to navigate and especially easy to get to the Marriott hotel, where I had to be for a work function. It's always nice to meet up with colleagues from around the country that I only get to see but a few times a year. It's lovely to have a catch up with them, see where they've been traveling around to since I had last seen them a few months prior. Of course getting down to business is always necessary, but we got to indulge in the wonderful pleasantries that come along with the meeting beforehand.

The walls of the station stop were quite vibrant. All different colors stacked on a 45 degree angle. Very pretty for a train station. A couple more cranes to update on tomorrow. My body is indicating it is time for sleep.

The Liberty Bell was one of the few things I don't think I ever saw when visiting Philly when I was younger. The Zoo, of course. The Franklin Institute, for sure. But not the Liberty Bell. It was pretty cool looking. We followed it off with a saunter around Ben Franklin's grave and surrounding cemetery (where I couldn't bring myself to release a crane.) Very pretty surrounding area though.

I've come to realize I place a fair number of cranes in phone booth areas. Usually this is because it is a.) pretty sheltered b.) occasionally one of the only flat surfaces and c.) a lot of people look at the phone booths and wonder why they are still there since the advent of the cell phone. It's sort of a win win for everyone/everything.
