I hadn't been to the plaza that houses Village Coffee since they had redone it. It is quite nice. I was in the mood for a warm beverage whilst being in one of the other stores. The chai tea definitely did the trick. I think one of my favorite things about the winter is teas, hot apple cider, and hot chocolates. I'm definitely a sucker for them. Do you have a favorite winter treat that you look forward to?

Laughter really is the best medicine. If you think about a time you've been down and got a good laugh about something (a show, a friend, yourself), you did feel better even if it was only for a short while. Hopefully you can find something to laugh about today.

Due to some technical difficulties with my camera (must remember to charge the battery if I want to take pictures), I wasn't able to get a picture of the crane in its location. Similar to most banks, it was in that little vestibule with the table to write on.

Instead, I'll share with you a picture of my little curious furball taking a little sniff of one of my upcoming cranes. (Perhaps a number spoiler alert!)

When I was younger, my family went to this park regularly. Lots of good memories here of panning for sharks teeth, paying on the swingset, drinking Dr. Pepper and feeding the ducks/geese (where they occasionally stole what we were feeding them.) I remember it being very serene back in the day. It's changed a fair amount since those days but it won't change the pleasant memories.

I've always seen this Farmer's Market while heading to the library, but had never ventured in. But today I was finally in the area when the market was open. What a treat. I'm excited to go back again and pick up some of that Apple Pie jam when I have some sort of method of payment on me.

I chose the Wall Library for my first release because, like the crane word, it makes me happy. Hopefully someone picks up this crane before it gets taken away by a cleaning crew! (That's one of my fears of this project, that all the cranes will be throw away. But it is what it is.)
