At the Art Center, I learned that not only do they have art classes, but they have a whole plethora of classes. From dog training to jewelry making, frisbee golf to bar-b-queing, it seems like there's not too much you CAN'T do at Thompson Park. This definitely sealed that deal that I would be back. Of course I'll be hitting up that Adult Archery class...

Since it was absolutely gorgeous out and I had the day off, I decided to play tourist in my own area. I had never been up to Thompson Park but it looked like a lovely spot to go for a walk. And it held up it's end of the bargain! The visitor's center was marvelous with a little exhibit giving the history behind the Thompson Family and their local contributions. Impressive! There are lots of trails that are on the property and I look forward to going back in the spring and summer to do a little goecaching!
