362. Holiday

We decided to check out Joe's as it was featured on the TV show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We enjoyed our burgers and hot dogs under the shade of some sort of large tree. It was pretty nice when it was light out. We followed the rest of this holiday evening buying and setting off some fireworks. Unlike where we live, buying fireworks in a grocery store parking lot is legal as well as setting off said fireworks on private properties. We also took advantage on New Year's Day of the holiday and set them off that night too!

I met up with a friend in order to find a holiday party dress for a work function. We were both very energetic in the beginning of the search. Lots of dresses to try on and a winner (actually 2!) were found. The first, you can see in the corner of this photo a little bit. I had never been shopping in that Macy's (the one on 34th Street, which admittedly is the biggest department store, let alone Macy's, that I had ever been to.) They had all the holiday decorations up and chose Miracle on 34th Street as their window theme this year. (I didn't even know they had themed windows, but I got a lovely view of it this year.)
