I popped into the mall to see if they had a store at this mall that my local one no longer has (they don't) but it was nice to see all the different stores I haven't seen in the malls by me. I didn't pick anything up as I was keen on finally making it home after a relatively long day of driving, and I was hoping not to hit the rush hour traffic since summer in New Jersey often means Friday beach traffic. Thankfully I made it home without issue or major hold up!

I've ever so slowly been making my way through the paper book collection I have amassed over the years. I have a slight book problem whereby I purchase a number of books and then don't read them, choosing to read ones that have come to me via the library. So I am trying to ween myself off of paper books from the library in order to take a stab at reading all the books I currently own. One day. Eventually. I'm still going to keep getting audiobooks out of the library though!

On my way home from Virginia, I stopped by for a quick visit with a friend who lives in the area. Always nice to catch up with friends whenever possible! It was a nice visit as I got to eat a late lunch at a delicious place I hadn't been to but heard of before. I also was a good way to break up a lengthy drive.

I definitely had fun on my long weekend. I find that getting away, even if it's just a short drive away, is always good. Do you have any fun vacations planned? Or any fun activities coming up in the near future? The next fun thing I am looking forward to is going to visit my Granny in Florida over Thanksgiving this year.
