The Hoover Dam was our first stop on the road trip at only an hour away from Las Vegas. It is an impressive structure. We took the power plant tour that took us several stories down and showed us some of the interworkings/structures of the dam, how it reroutes the water, and provides the power from that rerouting. I absolutely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. It's such a neat place to visit and great for photos!
