It had been ages since I had been to the Jenkinson's Aquarium. Although I had been to the boardwalk probably a dozen times in recent years, I hadn't gone to the aquarium. I had an out of town guest visiting who gave me a good excuse to go visit again. It may be on the smaller side for an aquarium, but it packs quite a punch. There were lots of awesome animals to snap a few photos of and lots of little exhibits to see. I was sort of surprised to see parrots and even pigmy monkeys upstairs! It definitely was a wonderful treat, which was followed by a edible sort of treat next door at the fudge shop!

One of my favorite things to do when we went to the boardwalk when I was a child, was stop into the Sweet Shop. They have an ample selection of goodies (namely fudge, which has always been my go to). I picked up Chocolate Peanut Butter, a classic, and Birthday Cake during this visit. I was tempted to pick up a candy apple or two to share but realized I could probably make my own after last weekends apple picking adventures. What sorts of goodies do you remember enjoying as a kid?

There's something about seeing an older married couple walking around places hand in hand. Perhaps it's just the assumptions we make: that they've been happily married for years upon years and are still in love. I think I'll stick to those assumptions rather than think the opposite. It's nice to think that long-lasting marriages aren't just a thing of the past. So thank you to this lovely older couple at the boardwalk!

I don't know about you guys, but I have a problem with saving things that I think are priceless. Mostly it's mementos, cards, and pictures. I've got boxes, containers and external hard-drives filled with all these priceless items. I have trouble parting with items like that. We've all spent time in a waiting room to hear what sort of work a car needs. (Well, unless you don't own a car, in which case you may not have had this "plesaure.") Thankfully it was only a routine oil change for me. But I thought that perhaps a crane could cheer someone up that may have had a larger problem.
