While waiting for a friend for dinner, I popped into the local Barnes and Noble to see if there were any books on sale from my to-read list that the library didn't have. I got lucky! Found one on sale and quickly snapped it up. My list of books I want to read is miles long, but I can't ever turn down getting a new book to fill up the shelves a little bit more!

Before we took the high speed ferry back to the boat, I decided to pop into the visitors center. I probably shouldn't have as it showed me all the lovely things I wasn't going to have time to do. Just means I'll have to go back to Bermuda in the not too distant future, I guess. I'm alright with that. I think the caverns and the pink sand beaches will definitely be on the top of that list!

I couldn't help but stop into this small little bookshop as we were shopping around in Hamilton for the morning. I definitely could see myself enjoying it more often if I actually lived on the island. It had charm and seemed like the sort of place where the owner would go above and beyond to get you books you would enjoy. I only got to take a brief peek around, but I liked how cozy it was.

I think one of the most interesting things I learned on the tour was that non-native Bermudans or descendents of Bermudans could not buy property. They are trying to keep Bermudan property "in the family" so to speak. Apparently property there is also crazy expensive, so I'm pretty glad I couldn't even buy property there if I had the opportunity! I'll just stick to the hotels and visiting all the sights.

If I lived closer to the Sayen Gardens, I could definitely see that as a lovely reading spot with its fountains and gazebos. There were lots of little trails and some very pretty flowers. I imagine the spring is when it is in its prime. It was tucked away in a residential neighborhood and very quiet. Definitely tranquil and serene. I wasn't sure exactly where all the trails lead, and didn't want to get lost, so I didn't explore it thoroughly. But from what I did see, I could definitely appreciate its beauty.

Without many safe places to put this one, I went back to my easily visible option of the phone booth. This one was right outside the bathroom area, so you had to look straight at it when entering. But I wonder how many people looked, but didn't see it?
